OPPORTUNITY:
Katie Labourdette-Martinez and Olivia Wahler were looking to transition their styling company to a full fledged design firm in Santa Barbara. Their goals were two-fold: Establish their firm locally, appealing to the high net worth residents in the area, as well as launch the hospitality side of their businessโstarting with the Craft House Inn.
RESPONSE:
We developed a multi-faceted PR strategy for Hearth Homes & Hearth Hospitality, with the biggest goal being to secure local press for the design firm. We used the opening of The Craft House Inn to establish Hearth Homes as a design firm disrupting the bed and breakfast model by modernizing historic properties, designing them for how people want to travel today.
RESULT:
We secured robust local coverage for the brand, touting the opening of the Craft House Inn, landing them in Sunset, Santa Barbara Magazine, Santa Barbara Life & Style, and 805 Living. We secured regional and national press including features in Luxe, Sunset Magazine and Rue. We secured visits from tastemakers and editors including Goop, Modern Luxury, Pamela Salzman, and Alex Snodgrass (The Defined Dish). Our team still continues to represent Hearth Homes, and they have just acquired two new hospitality properties in the area.
