Boxwood Avenue (Chloe Legras)
CASE STUDY
OPPORTUNITY: FROM CONTENT CREATOR TO CREDIBLE DESIGN VOICE
When Boxwood Avenue came to The Storied Group, founder Chloé Legras had already built an engaged audience and a recognizable point of view. What she didn’t yet have was the kind of third-party credibility that would establish her within the design industry.
Our goal was bigger than securing press. We wanted to change the perception of the brand—from a successful digital platform to a serious design voice with staying power.
RESPONSE:
Leveraging Chloé’s distinctive “American Girl in Paris” persona, we saw an opportunity to evolve Boxwood Avenue beyond its lifestyle roots and position Chloé as the face of a transatlantic design firm. Through strategic storytelling, top-tier press and industry opportunities, we built the credibility and visibility to support that evolution—setting the stage for a design business with clients from Paris to California.
RESULT:
Within the first year of working together, The Storied Group:
Secured major features in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal that ran in print and online
Helped position Chloé for selection as a showhouse designer by a legacy design publication
Expanded her visibility and relationships within the design industry
Secured professional management, opening the door to new revenue streams and major partnerships with brands.
